Did you know that back in 1919 we would have been neighbors with Rocky River's City Hall?

The building located to the left of Tartine Bistro was originally designed to house the Rockport Courthouse.

However, as construction came to an end the city realized their mayor would need a working office space.

Hence, the building opened to become the first City Hall and housed the mayor and staff until it was sold in 1954 to a private owner.

It currently serves as an office building to many local businesses, but what a treat to have been on the same street as the mayor!
