Featured Remedy: Chocolate

This February at Pure Enchantment is perhaps the sweetest month of all, with our delicious scent of chocolate lavender.

Chocolate has been adored for years as an aphrodisiac and it's roots began back in 1900BC, when the Aztecs believed cocoa beans were a gift from the God of Wisdom and used them to create a fermented drink similar to modern day hot chocolate.

Consuming chocolate has been shown to boost the hormones serotonin and phenylethylamine, meaning it helps boost happiness and passion, which is why we've captured it's wonderful scent in our soaps and lotions for you this month, with a touch of lavender.
