Ever Wonder Why We Make New Year's Resolutions?

We have all written them, followed some and ignored others, but when did this little tradition of creating New Year’s resolutions start?

They are common lists - eat healthier, exercise, save money, get a promotion, spend more time with the kids, have more date nights.

Some we re-write again each year and others we proudly check-off the list!

The Washington Post found, “the tradition of making New Year’s resolutions began during the reign of Caesar in 49 B.C.”

It was during the Roman calendar under his rule that determined the new year would fall on January 1st, creating a centuries old tradition of celebration that we still enjoy today.

Whatever your resolutions, we wish you the most wonderful New Year and hope you will spend some time in 2020 with us!
